Hmmmm....

Friday, October 9, 2009

I haven't blogged about anything lately. Really the only reason i'm even writing this blog is because I'm avoiding AP US History homework. So I'm just going to talk about some things I guess.

School: It's getting better. I've learn this year so far that studying actually helps. But like I've said before it's been sucking. I dont have any classes with my best friends :[
But I have lunch with Linda who I am chatting with via webcam.
However I hate the people at my school with a deep passion. I see why people left and I can't be mad at them. Towards the beginning of the year I felt like I was not ready for college yet. And I still do feel that way, but now I really couldn't care less. I just want to leave this town. But yeah I'm kind of getting use to the workload not really though. Give me like a month more and I'll be good on this stuff.

Home: My family is doing fine concerning their health that is, and I'm grateful for that. I just wish that my family could be rewarded with something more than health, maybe a little help financially. Its so ironic, in a painful way too, that my dad moved us here to Georgia from New York for a better life. Yet it seems like we would struggle anywhere. My parents have worked their asses off for 20+ plus years to provide for their family. I just ask that something good is in store for them in future, to show that all their hard work was worth it.

Well I wrote that awhile back, but I'm posting it now.

Junior Year So Far...

Wednesday, September 16, 2009

Has been so difficult. Many of the people I could call my friends left. Besides that I get on average 4, hours of sleep, my grades are not where I'd like them to be, and I have no time for a social life. I understand that I'm at fault somewhat for both two of these problems. But the first two years of high school did not prepare me for this important year at ALL. To top all of this off my family is struggling so hard with money right now, and its painful to watch my dad and mother open up bills and see their faces. Worse is that I feel helpless and guilty. I want to help them out but I have no job which means no money. I feel guilty because I'm draining them of their money with all these clubs I want to join.

Still I want to stay positive throughout all this. I'm hoping somewhere in the near future all of this will have been worth it. I'm just going to try really hard to have a social life and see my friends that have left. You know who you are :D

Huh. I though I'd have more to say I guess I don't. Nothing really has happened that has made me terribly sad, pissed off, or actually happy.

Owning your burdens is half the battle. ~From the television show "Scrubs"

P.S. I'm sorry it's been 3 months since my last post.

Last Day of School + 4 days

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

If you don't get the title, then basically its just saying 4 days have passed since school let out and its Tuesday. They use that same format in Band of Brothers, which I watched again today. I absolutely think that is one of the best shows ever produced. I love watching historical stuff. Well stuff that's recent. I couldn't give a shit about what happened with the Islamic Empires and the Chinese dynasties. Maybe that's why I failed my AP exam...lol.

Yeah so today I basically did nothing again. But yesterday Linda had a BBQ and i ate food there. Damn those Asians can cook. Linda just kept offering food and I couldn't resist (which is bad ofr my diet). Damn you Linda and your Asian foods.

Back to today. My internet and cable went out so that made my day even suck more. I woke up like at 2 in the afternoon, not good. Oh but my Dad is going to buy the tickets for Nueva York Thursday and pay off almost half of my Paris trip. I really cannot wait to go to Normandy. That's another place in France, and it's where D-Day took place. Awesome! Well not in the sense of young men dying, but in the sense that some historical shit went down.

I also played Combat Arms, which is basically a killing game because the whole objective is to kill the enemy. I just finished playing an hour ago with Linda and her brother. Me and Linda lost against her brother. But we did almost win so that counts. And if you say it doesn't then you can
SUCK IT! I need to do something this week. Probably go to the park with my doggy! OOOOOH that would be so much fun.

Ok well i didn't have anything meaningful to say in this blog so i'll leave you with a funny quote from one of my favorite movies and one I say to people who make me mad.

Violence = Solution?

Sunday, May 24, 2009

Today was the beginning of break and it went well... ehh.

I slept in really late til like 12. Linda called me before though and I picked up. We both sounded really tired. Or maybe it was my imagination. Anyways, I thought I'd be able to go to her house but I couldn't :/ a great way to start this break off. Still we had a lot of fun yesterday afternoon.

Haha do you see a nipple?

So that makes up for the fact I guess. Linda and I tried to beat up Barnard, but I ended up with dirt in the folds of my pants. Probably because we fell so many times on our backs.

Anyways back to today. I watched a couple episodes of Band of Brothers and i realized two things. That violence doesn't solve always solve anything and is rarely necessary. I can;t understand why people would fight over something they heard or because their feelings got hurt. But then there are those cases where it's totally acceptable. Take WWII. Hitler and his fellow Nazis thought the "Final Solution" was to put Jews, gypsies, and others who didn't fit their idea of the "perfect race" into work camps. I can see how violence was needed because I don't think there was anything that could be said to change these demented Nazis.

Sometimes I wish people could just realize that violence isn't meant to be used when supposedly you heard someone say blahblahblah about you. I mean I see this not only in people my age but those older. When we're kids it's okay becuase we don't know any better. But there is a time when we should realize what is really important and if violence really does solve anything.

When I watch programs like Band of Brothers, it makes me grateful for the people who go out and fight. But it makes me hate the governments who make them do it, whether through drafting or propoganda.

ALYCIA!

Thursday, May 21, 2009

I told you i was going to blog. But yeahh i'm about to go to the hospital to see my grandpa so i'll be back soon. oh i have to do this though.

KRIS ALLEN WON AMERICAN IDOL!

AHHH... such warm welcomes lol.
I came back from the hospital where I visited mi abuelo. There was something wrong with his prostate but they got whatever it was out. I was relieved to know he didn't have cancer. But still I didn't like seeing him hooked up to all those wires, looking sick (and not in that stupid sense people use today) and in pain. I just want him to make a fast recovery and be well again.

On a lighter note, Okay so basically tomorrow is the last day of school! A whole book could not express how happy I am. Sarah is coming too! But I heard it was gonna rain. Man I cannot wait to get tomorrow over with so I can start my spring break. AND BLAZE YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE! I'M GOING TO TIE YOU UP IN MY ROOM TO A CHAIR AND FEED YOU OCCASIONALLY.

Also another big plus was that Kris won AI!!! I don't care what anyone says he deserved it. He's so fucking hot lol. Alright, just needed to get that off my chest. I just love his style. I prefer acoustic over pop-ish type music. I just created a whole playlist on Myspace of all the songs he sang on AI. I'm obsessed and I have a problem I know.
